We walk alongside you as you decide the style, size, wood species, and finish that fits you and your home. We understand that finding that perfect piece can be daunting. We want to work with you to get it just right. While you’re here, you can also take a tour of our production facility. How long will my appointment last?
That’s up to you! Depending on your project it can take 30 minutes or more; we’re here to fit into your schedule.
We are located in Mount Hope, Ohio — the heart of Ohio’s Amish Country.
Our physical address is:
8233 State Route 241, Fredericksburg, OH 44627.
Although our physical address is in Fredericksburg, we’re really in Mount Hope, Ohio, so some GPS systems get confused.

Room measurements and floor plans (if possible) can be very helpful in deciding on the right size of furniture for your space. If you have finish or fabric samples, feel free to bring those as well. Photos of the room or space can also be helpful. In addition, sometimes it helps to know the width and height of your doorway openings that the furniture will need to fit through to make it to it’s final destination in your home!
Absolutely! We’re open Monday-Friday awaiting your arrival. While you’re always welcome, we request that you book an appointment so we can be ready and give you the VIP experience that you deserve.
Absolutely! If you aren’t quite ready to talk furniture, but still want to pay us a visit, we would love to see you! We offer a complimentary tour Monday-Friday at 10:00 a.m. for folks who want a fun tour of our operation and an inside look into what we do here. We just ask that you let us know when you’re coming so we can reserve your spot. Either schedule a tour or give us a call to make sure your spot on the tour is saved!
Definitely not. No one at Homestead works on commission; we work together as a team. We are deeply committed to helping you figure out what’s best for your space.
That’s totally fine! We want to be available to answer any questions you might have and give you all the room and time you need to just browse.

Because we specialize in custom furniture, we can design anything - far more than what we have room to display on our showroom.
We have a “never say no” motto, so we’re pretty confident that we’ll be able to help you find the exact piece you need. From building complete libraries to a wooden car, we thrive on creating customized furniture for our customers. You can choose the size, design, species, and color — the control is yours! We build whatever you want. If you feel overwhelmed by choices, don’t worry. Our in-house design team is part of each step of the process — for as much or little help as you need.
You come to us with an idea. You can either browse our store for inspiration, or come in with a sketch, photo, drawing, or tell our sales expert what you’re looking for. From there, we will work with you to get all of the details you’re interested in, such as species, color, and more. We will work with you until you’re completely satisfied with the design. Once the design is complete, your piece goes into production. One of our craftsmen will begin building your heirloom piece from start to finish. Once your furniture is finished, we white glove deliver it to your house.
